I’ve been studying for three days straight now, for the exam that I’m taking this Friday. On one hand, it’s worth a try to either
a) improve my only 6 to a 7
b) improve that 6 to an 8 and have the opportunity of graduating cum laude (if I complete the graduation project with a 9 as well, mind you)
On the other hand, the sun is shining and I’ve got 5 days off from work and I’m not relaxing at all. On the contrary, my dear Watson, I’m building up stress and that’s starting to get to me. Today, I’ve got to make a choice: Study new material that will likely be covered in the exam and as a result be totally frazzled by the end of the week but having a small but slightly larger chance of improving it to an 8, or drop everything, step out into the sunshine and try for a 7.
I’ve got a headache and I’m pretty sure it would be best for me to just sit back and relax. And to be honest, I don’t think the stress of having to achieve a 9 for my graduation is going to do me any good. So I think I’m gonna study from 10 to 12:30 today and then I’m going to stop studying and relax. I’ve got the exam tomorrow afternoon, we’ll see what I make of it.
