Sunday, some friends came over to eat some pie (It was fun to see you again! 🙂 ) and while talking about work I mentioned that I haven’t really bothered to learn PHP so far. I’ve tried to do some stuff a few times, but to be honest, the language doesn’t really ‘feel right’ for me. However, as I was customizing a WordPress installation today, I found that I wanted to do something with the menu that I couldn’t find a plugin for: I wanted to list all posts from a certain category in the menu.
The WordPress Twenty Eleven theme allows a custom menu, but you can only set up a link to a category page there. So after Googling, I decided to see if I could write a little plugin to do what I wanted.. And here it is! 🙂
I’ve submitted it for review at the WordPress Plugin Submission Program Thingy, because I’d like some feedback on it. Who knows, it may be accepted! 😀 This is officially the first useful thing I’ve programmed in my free time. I’m so proud! 😉
