Internship and languages

Last monday, the teacher I e-mailed with a request to help me find an internship in Japan told me that he already sent a few messages out. Even though nothing has come from this yet, I’m glad that I’ve found some help. I myself intend to start looking for interesting papers originating from Japan, so that I might contact the author to ask for a possible internship.

Also, my brother gave me his iPod, so when traveling I’m listening to music or… Japanese lessons! 🙂 I’ve found some great audio lessons, so now I can listen and speak (whisper) my first words ofJapanese everywhere! Right now I’ve just decided to start with the spoken language, perhaps later I will learn to read katakana. Apparently nowadays katakana is used more often, or so I’m told.
